Lee’s Tax City, LLC, our parent company, was founded in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1994.  Like you, we started small.  Our Chairman took over her father’s liquor store and started preparing income tax returns out of the lobby in 1994.  In our first year, we did over 500 returns!  We never looked back.  We have processed over 100,000 tax returns and we have three, year-round, tax offices here in Indianapolis and, through 1040TaxBiz, have expanded our small footprint into a mini-empire stretching over 28 states with 232 Affiliates.
